Companions in Mission Conference

Several of us attended this event last year and found our time together to be well-spent! This year’s Conference will focus on refugees and migration, across the street & around the world. Join us for this day-long (Saturday) conference complete with a keynote address by Allison Duvall, Program Manager for Church Relations & Engagement, Episcopal Migration Ministries, a panel discussion moderated by Bishop Ian, and several workshops., including: 

1) Getting Started in Mission - Don Ghostlaw and Rev. Tracy Johnson Russell 

2) Funding Opportunities for Mission - Bill Schrull, Leslie Jones, Alan McCollom, UTO Representative

3) When Helping Hurts - Gus Schlegel

4) Cultural Sensitivity and Money Matters - Rev. Tom Furrer

5) A Conversation with a Resettled Refugee Family and Sponsoring Parish (through IRIS).

Registration is required: $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
