Special Worship Services

We follow the ancient spiritual way of ordering our church calendar. Our church year starts on the first day of Advent, a time of preparation and joyful anticipation of Christmas. The season of Christmas – like many other important days in the life of the church – lasts for 40 days. We also celebrate a Saint’s Day every month as well as offer a montly worship service for people in recovery.

We follow a schedule of scripture readings that is shared by many churches and called the Revised Common Lectionary. Some of the special worship days planned for the year ahead are shown on the top left portion of this page.
